They should be directing you back to your copier dealer for purchase. They will not send you to our Company 5thNK because of the fiduciary responsilbilies eCopy set into place messaging back to a local copier dealer. We are made up of former eCopy IT Information Technology engineers and sales folks. eCopy branded software from Nuance is our life blood. We awake daily to a focus on eCopy branded solutions.

Answer: Nuance has allowed the purchase of single user licenses since 2009.

Answer: They can, they choose not to. From a profit standpoint Copier sales reps need to concentrate on selling Copiers, Fax machines, Managed Print services etc. The number one priority for 5thNK is to sell, deliver, and support, eCopy Solutions including single user licenses to business and non business customers. YES we get a lot of business from folks working in their home offices, and one user license AKA 1 license for one computer is perfect for them.

Answer: Your Copier dealer can also sell you 5pack, 10packs, 20packs, with 1 year of support. they choose not to.

Answer: Paperworks has the same user interface as Desktop 8.x and 9.x. "Request a Demo."

Answer: YES to windows 7, 64bit machines, and terminal services. Paperworks is the replacement to Desktop software. The reason it was introduced was becuase it has a new code base that allows it to work in the above environments listed.

Answer: Nuance the company invented PDF Pro Office and branded it with eCopy, thus... eCopy PDF Pro Office. It is a PDF software program that is more powerful than a full version of Acrobat AKA Acrobat Professional.

Answer: Depends on how you define better? Better for existing Desktop users is a like for like interface = Paperworks
Better for some users is that eCopy PDF Pro Office will extract documents or parts of the document to an excel spread sheet.

Answer: YES as long as you have a support contract in place. There is no charge to change to this program. Nuance is calling it an upgrade. the fact is though it is not an upgrade as it is a different code based program. Upgrades by definition mean that the upgrade you are installing decommissions the existing software and writes over it. eCopy PDF Pro will live as a 2nd program on you computer and does not wipe out eCopy Paperworks. What this means is you can use both.

Answer: Anybody can buy any domain name they choose to buy. eCopy the company we use to work for owns eCopy.com When eCopy Inc sold to Nuance we knew that Nuance would eventually move the experience from eCopy.com to Nuance.com. Having stated that we also knew that Google's search engine would reach out and present information based on an end users search criteria. It would be wrong to buy eCopy domains to then sell some other software solution. We from 5thNK are passionate about the eCopy Software solutions and as such wanted to be found to engage with you the customer. In 2009 then we started buying up these domains (Nuance and eCopy could have too) to "Be found". If you are reading this it is not because we sent you an email or called you on the phone, it is because you typed in search criteria into Google's search engine and Google brought you here. "Be found" Side bar... "No one has ever found anything on the internet... EVER! you type in the info to Google, and Google finds it!"

Answer: Most likely yes. We own 100 blogs, 600 plus twitter accounts, 50 domains. We registered our 1st domain and started our internet journey in 1996. "We are not spring chickens." Answer: 5thNK is a Microsoft Office 365 Partner. Office 365 is Microsoft's "in the cloud offering" As a Microsoft Partner we are given authority by Microsoft to message, and assist folks with this experience. What it really means is we have folks on staff that took the tests from Microsoft and passed them. Our list of Microsoft customers keeps on growing.
